Director of Quality and Compliance
Edd’s primary responsibilities include regulatory compliance and process improvement initiatives. Edd served 20 years in the United States Air Force as a dental technician and a leadership instructor. After retiring from the military, Edd started his quality journey as a quality consultant and manager at a large academic hospital. He served as a Quality Director and Patient Safety Officer at a local community hospital, for-profit hospitals, and most recently as the Director of Quality Improvement and Risk Management at a Federally Qualified Health Center.
Edd received a Bachelor of Science in Management and Computer Information Systems from Park University, and earned a Master of Information Technology from American InterContinental University. His certifications include: Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA), Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ); Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence; Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS); Certified Occupational Instructor through the Air Force’s Air University; and completed Villanova University’s Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) certificate program.
