Webinar: Early Childhood Trauma and Subsequent Addiction

On February 10, 2016, Addiction Professional hosted a webinar, wherein Sierra Tucson Chief Medical Officer Michael Genovese, MD, JD, presented “Early Childhood Trauma and Subsequent Addiction.” Dr. Genovese reviewed environmental, genetic and epigenetic influences of addiction and the importance of a team approach to recognizing and treating addiction and underlying trauma.

We invite you to watch this webinar, and please pass it along to your colleagues.

The time spent at Sierra Tucson was the true beginning of my journey. Not only did I overcome my addictions, but I began to focus on the root causes that created my compulsions. I understand myself so much better now.
