Anna McCarthy serves as chief of clinical innovation at Sierra Tucsonwhere she is responsible for driving the vision for the facility’s clinical programming. Anna plays an instrumental role in enhancing the facility’s current clinical programming. She also develops new programs that aid in increasing Sierra Tucson’s ability to serve patients and their families. Anna brings significant behavioral healthcare experience to her role at Sierra Tucson, having worked extensively with people who have suffered from various forms of trauma. Her previous leadership roles include program director for the outpatient program at Mindful Healing Center and co-founder and clinical director of The Mental Health Collective, both located in Newport Beach, California.

Before coming to Sierra Tucson, she spent the last 10 years providing high-quality behavioral health treatment to individuals, couples and families through her private practice in Newport Beach. She has also supported people who were struggling with addiction in both the residential and outpatient settings. As a staff psychologist at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System, Anna collaborated with a colleague on an orientation program for veterans who were seeking psychological services.
