Title: Personal and Professional Self Care: Making Time for Change
Speaker: Joyce S. Sixsmith, MA, LADC, Substance Abuse Counselor/Prevention Specialist

Join Counselor Joyce Sixsmith as she speaks on the power and importance of Self Care in all aspects of one’s life. Sixsmith will cover the importance of strong nutrition, exercise, positive relationships, the importance of a social life, building a positive network, career success and much more! The highlight of the presentation will be focused on why we need self-care and how to make time for such necessary changes.

Joyce Sixsmith is a CT licensed alcohol and other drug counselor and prevention specialist with over thirty years of experience. Ms. Sixsmith is currently the President of the Ram Council Foundation Inc., a non-profit of New Canaan teens who commit to substance free living. Joyce has a clinical practice in New Canaan and is the  Connections Counselor at Darien High School . Joyce is also a consultant for the Wilton Youth Council where she supervises the Warrior Council a group of Wilton HS teens and is the Coordinator of the Teen Advisory Board for Housatonic Valley Coalition in Bethel, both groups of teens who commit to substance free living.

Cost & Registration: $10 per person with pre-registration by the Monday prior to the Breakfast. Seating is limited to 50 participants for each session, with no exceptions. Therefore, walk-ins may not be accommodated at this event. Please complete the registration section below.
