Tina DePalma, MA, EAT, LAC
Primary Therapist
Originally from the western suburbs of Chicago, Tina DePalma, MA, EAT, LAC, began her career at Sierra Tucson in 2022 as a residential counselor. She later served as an eating recovery therapist before stepping into her current role as a primary therapist. Tina brings experience working with survivors of domestic violence, supporting both women and children. Her professional background also includes previous residential treatment work as a case manager and admissions coordinator.
Tina earned her Master of Arts in Counseling with a concentration in expressive art therapy from Ottawa University and her undergraduate degree in Human Services from National Louis University. Tina believes her clients possess resilience and capacity for growth and healing. She integrates interventions from CBT, DBT, and ACT while providing therapy through a somatic lens. When appropriate, she incorporates expressive art therapy to support emotional expression, deepen insight, and encourage personal growth.
In her spare time, Tina enjoys creating art, spending time with her two dogs and cat, and exploring the beauty of the Sonoran Desert with all it has to offer with her husband and friends.
