2) Tellhow to make informed decisions about whether equine assisted psychotherapy and/or SE are an appropriate modality when referring clients to treatment

Tamara Clause, LPC - Equine Therapy Program Manager
Tamara is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Lead of the Equine Assisted Therapy program at Sierra Tucson. Tamara received two undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Communication from the University of Arizona, and her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Equine-Assisted Mental Health from Prescott College. She is a Certified Equine Interaction Professional in Mental Health (CEIP-MH), and is certified with EAGALA and in the Neuro-Equine model. As a lifetime equestrian, horses have been an integral part of Tamara's well-being and she seeks to maintain a high standard for effective, ethical practice in the field. She has been at Sierra Tucson since 2016.
