Lead Psychologist




Job Description/Qualifications:
Qualified applicants will possess Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. in Psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) approved program; minimum of two(2) years' experience in the field at the doctoral level. Must be licensed as a psychologist by the Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners and able to supervise non-licensed psychology department staff. The successful candidate will have excellent psychometric skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting. In addition, must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, and strong clinical ability. Must maintain complete confidentiality in all patient/program matters, in accordance with facility policy.

This licensed Psychologist will lead our department. Must have strength in psychological testing to administer, score and interpret psychological test results. Will perform evaluations of personality functining, cognitive functioning, and will advise other health care providers on characteristics and appropriateness of psychological testing in patient care. Experience in biofeedback and/or neurofeedback is a plus. This lead Psychologist will oversee the overall operation of the Psychology department including budget and staffing.

Therapeutic Recreational Activities Counselor




Job Description/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; Master's degree preferred. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience working in Adventure Therapies in a therapeutic setting. Certification and/or licensure in behavioral health field or Adventure Therapies preferred.

Facilitation of Adventure Therpay and recreational activities; including Climbing Wall, Low elements Challenge Course, High Elements Challenge Course and experiential games and activities. Co-facilitation of equine assisted therapy groups. May also monitor pool and gym. Must document all patient group activities, participate in communication with the interdisciplinary team, and be able to design safe and appropriate activities based on each patient's individual needs.

Somatic Experiencing Therapist - Contract




Job Description/Qualifications:
Completion of three-year program of study in Somatic Experiencing with certificate of completion. Background in psychotherapy and counseling with 3-5 years experience in treatment of trauma, eating disorers and addiction. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in multi-discipplinary team enviroment. Prefer AZ LPC or other professional counseling license.

Float Therapist - PRN




Job Description/Qualifications:
Master’s Degree and 4 years post-degree experience in a Behavioral Health setting, including CD, Trauma, Mood, etc. Ability to be flexible according to patient census and programming needs. Ability to facilitate individual and group therapies, family therapy, or grief therapy in various group environments. Knowledge of Family Systems and the 12-Steps. AZ licensed or eligible.

Unit Assistant - PRN - All Shifts




Job Description/Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D; current CPR and crisis intervention (CPI) required (will train). Medical office procedures knowledge preferred. Excellent customer service and good communication skills. Minimum age requirement is 21.

Performs routine patient care duties; assist in promoting a therapeutic environment within the team concept, and coordinates clerical activities of nurses' station. Provides excellent customer service to patients, departments within Sierra Tucson, as well as outside entities.

Job Description/Qualifications:
Registered nurses must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing. Experience in behavioral health setting or psychiatric nursing preferred. At least 2 years of nursing experience preferred. AZ licensed and currently registered as an RN.

Provides nursing care to assigned patients through the nursing process; participates as an active member of the inter-disciplinary treatment team.
