Psychiatrist - FT




Job Description/Qualifications:
Qualified applicants will be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry and have a fascination with how to blend the art of science of medicine into an effective whole via the utilization of a wide variety of evidence-based and non-traditional/complementary therapeutic services in conjunction with multi-disciplinary treatment teams. Prefer applicants with experience in addiction medicine, but experience in mood, anxiety, eating disorders, chronic pain, and/or trauma is also valued.

Individual will function as the Attending Psychiatrist for a panel of patients, carrying the responsibility for their patients' overall psychiatric care, including psychiatric evaluations, ordering psychological and/or neuropsychological testing, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, communicating with referring professionals, participating in multi-disciplinary treatment planning and care coordination, and modeling healthy interactions with patients, families, and other staff members. We strive to provide a seamless, integrative approach to neuropsychiatry.

Contract Neuropsychological Psychologist




Job Description/Qualifications:
Qualified applicants will possess Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. in Psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) approved program. We are seeking a professional with neuropsychological experience; prefer a minimum of two(2) years' experience in the field at the doctoral level. Approximately 20 hours, Saturday and Sunday; either PRN or subcontractor.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting. In addition, must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, and strong clinical ability. Must maintain complete confidentiality in all patient/program matters, in accordance with facility policy.

Contract Psychologist

Biofeedback Practitioner-Contract Staff




Job Description/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and work experience as a Biofeedback or Neurofeedback Technician. Biofeedback certification is preferred. Must have experience and training in the use of hardware and software for biofeedback equipment. Must posses skill in patient recordkeeping, and the ability to work on an interdisciplinary team. Prior work experience in hospital or in-patient behavioral health setting a plus. Must be able to work with patients with a wide range of diagnoses.

The biofeedback Practitioner will conduct biofeedback sessions with patients, interpret readings, and teach relaxation techniques. Successful candidate must have experience designing tailored treatment plans based on patient need, and must participate as an effective member of the treatment team. Must also be responsible for following equipment maintenance protocol, identifying problems, and coordinating appropriate repairs.

Somatic Experiencing Therapist-Contract Staff




Job Description/Qualifications:
Completion of three-year program of study in Somatic Experiencing with certificate of completion. Background in psychotherapy and counseling with 3-5 years experience in treatment of trauma, eating disorers and addiction. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in multi-discipplinary team enviroment. Prefer AZ LPC or other professional counseling license.

Registered Nurses - FT & PRN




Job Description/Qualifications:
Sierra Tucson is increasing its staff of Registered Nurses with psychiatric nursing experience. LPNs who are in training to obtain their registration may be considered. Currently seeking nurses to join our FT staff; and PRN nurses to be part of our Sierra Tucson PRN pool for either Day or Night shifts.

Registered Nurses are responsible for providing nursing care to assigned patients in this residential treatment setting. Nurses participate in lodge community meetings, and are instrumental in encouraging patients to participate fully in their treatment plans. Nurses must follow established protocols for compliance when distributing necessary medications and documenting the medical records.


Qualified applicants will be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and be currently licensed as an RN in good standing with the State of Arizona. Applicants should have 2+ years psychiatric nursing experience with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders. LPNs must be in training to obtain registration and have at least 2 years experience in mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.

Must display strong customer service skills and be able to work with patients with a wide range of diagnoses. Computer skills are necessary. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.

Unit Assistant - FT & PRN




Job Description/Qualifications:
Unit Assistants perform routine patient care duties (such as taking vital signs) in a busy environment of care. Will coordinate clerical activities of nurses' station and be present at the station for telephone and patient access and to promote a therapeutic environment within the team concept. Must provide excellent customer service to patients, nursing department co-workers, treatment team employees from other departments, as well as outside callers.

Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma required. Certification as Medical Assistant or CNA is helpful. Must have knowledge and experience in a healthcare environment. Must have proven customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally in person, via telephone, and in writing. CPR and crisis prevention intervention (CPI) certification is required (will train). Minimum age requirement is 21. All employees must maintain complete confidentiality in all patient/program matters in accordance with facility policy.
