Nourishment Webinar: The Traditional Chinese Medical Perspective on Depression and Anxiety

Learn more about the traditional Chinese medical perspective on depression and anxiety. Acupuncturist, Hannah Steerman, LAC, will provide a brief overview of Zang Fu and the Five Element theory of diagnosis as well as basic treatment principles for managing mild to moderate depression and anxiety. This 30-minute presentation will include a brief Q&A session. Please note: This is a complimentary non-CE event.

Hannah Steerman LAc Dipl.OM has a Bachelor's of Science in Plant Biology from the University of Arizona and a Master's of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.  She has worked as an Acupuncturist at Sierra Tucson for 11 years.  She is a second degree black belt in kajukenbo,  and a certified instructor in Shen Long Xing Yi Quan and Jinglou Qigong by the North American Tang Shou Tao.  She currently volunteers teaching qigong and Shen Long Xing Yi Quan in a local park in Tucson to promote wellness in her community.  Her hobbies include hiking, backpacking, gardening and spending time with her family.  She is passionate about her work as a catalyst to promote physical and emotional healing in others through education, acupuncture, cranio sacral therapy, and Jin Shou Tuina Chinese medical massage.
