Topic: Planning for Family Resistance
Speaker: Diana Clark, JD, MA

Living with or loving someone with a Substance Use Disorder often generates trauma and loss for family members. In an effort to cope, many families employ coping strategies that can increase family resistance to professional help and promote dysfunction that elevate the likelihood that disorders become further progressed. Please join Diana Clark, JD. MA as she discusses ways we can encourage family members to address maladaptive coping and potentially change the course of their loved ones’ healing.
