Event Description:

Forgiveness is often a misunderstood, yet powerful, tool in recovery and healing. We will learn what forgiveness is, what it isn’t, and how to apply it in our relationships and our lives. We will begin with a mindfulness and meditation practice from the Buddhist meditation training known as Shamatha.

Siri-Dya Singh Khalsa (S.D.) works at Sierra Tucson in the Therapeutic Recreational & Activities Program. He works as a personal trainer and ropes course facilitator. He also teaches a number of meditation/mindfulness classes during the week. S.D. has worked at Sierra Tucson for 2.5 years. This is a career change, having worked as a chartered financial advisor for over 20 years. After leaving the world of personal finance, S.D. started to pursue a new career in health care.
