Personal Boundaries: Practical Self-Care for Serenity"

Event Description:

Join us as we learn the cultivation of healthy boundaries and examine the various types of boundaries, including extremes from avoidant to enmeshment. We will learn family of origin boundary patterns and how to transform them, as well as interpersonal boundary setting and maintenance.

Jessamyn Dean, MA, LMHC, CDP, is a contemplative psychotherapist, who received her master's degree from Naropa University, where she was trained in Tibetan Buddhist Psychology, as well as psychodynamic, client-centered dialectical behavior and solution-focused psychotherapies. Jessamyn specializes in counseling individuals and families who are coping with substance, process, and relationship addictions, and concurrent mental health conditions. She is experienced in aiding individuals with grief counseling and deepening their spirituality, and healing the effects of childhood abuse. She is clinically skilled in working with complex developmental trauma. Her supportive, yet direct, approach to counseling is rooted in the introspective practice of mindfulness-awareness meditation.
