Come join Dr. Antoinette Giedzinska-Simons, director of behavioral medicine at Sierra Tucson, for an informative and fun day to explore stress—what it is, how it affects you, and what you can do to manage the daily hassles, relationship demands, and ongoing life challenges we all experience as “stressful.” Join us and become a masterful warrior in the battle against stress! Find your rhythm, your resiliency, and your ninja-warrior ways in this upbeat, interactive, and informative seminar.

About Dr. Antoinette Giedzinska-Simons
Antoinette Giedzinska-Simons, PhD, began working at Sierra Tucson in 2008 providing psychometric assessment and interpretation, in addition to developing psycho-educational curricula for Sierra Tucson’s Complex Pain Program. During 2009, she created and implemented the bio/neurofeedback program into the Sierra Tucson treatment process, utilizing integrative psychoneurophysiological therapeutics delivered by a talented team of Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA) professionals. Beginning in 2013, Dr. Antoinette spearheaded Sierra Tucson’s outcomes’ research platform with the aim of assessing patient progress in the short and long term, post-discharge. She currently oversees the Psychology Department as well, providing direction to further integrate psychological consultation and psychometric evaluation to support Sierra Tucson’s treatment teams in their efforts to provide excellent resident care.

Having experienced the positive transformative effects of yoga and meditation firsthand, Stephanie Clement, RYT, CSYT, MT, CYT, founded Stillness Yoga and Meditation Center in Marietta, Ga. in 2005. Stephanie's passion for the physical and spiritual benefits of yoga and meditation has led her to pursuing deeper studies in the areas of Hatha, Tantra yoga and meditation. She is a registered yoga teacher at the 500-hour level; she holds certifications in yoga therapy and yoga philosophy; and she is a Certified Meditation Teacher. Continuing to pursue whole body, mind, and soul wellness, Stephanie has also been trained as a Reiki master and women’s group facilitator.

Stephanie’s classes are steeped in safe alignment for an approachable exploration of yoga postures and infused with a deep awareness of breath, allowing that still quiet place within each student to arise.

Stephanie continues to grow and learn by studying and developing her experience and wisdom of the practices of yoga, meditation, and the holistic healing arts with many teachers. She  holds a BS in Education from the University of Georgia and has an extensive background in teaching, coaching, and sports medicine.
