"Stress and the Body:

A proactive approach toward wellness for 2017"

January 12, 2017

Presenter:

Camille Drachman, MSW, LCSW, SEP
Associate Clinical Director of Sierra Tucson

Event Description:

Many of us understand that stress can be detrimental to our health. Often, we hear how stress and medical conditions are directly linked. We also recognize, to an extent, the symptoms of stress and understand how it can affect our lives and relationships. When we have an even greater understanding of stress from a physiological perspective and the underlying impact it has on the body, we can be more mindful of the way in which we lead our lives and manage our every day.

In this workshop, presenter Camille Drachman, associate clinical director of Sierra Tucson, will provide information and exercises into better management of self-regulation no matter what life brings. She will cover the impact of stress on the nervous system and techniques for creating more peace and contentment into our lives. Regardless of what brought you to Sierra Tucson, this workshop will help Alumni make 2017 a more enjoyable year!
