Edythe Ryan, LMSW, CSAT Candidate, joined Sierra Tucson in April 2015 as a primary therapist, where she worked in the Addictions/Co-Occurring Disorders Program. Edythe is highly invested in the quality of resident care that Sierra Tucson provides from admission to discharge. In September 2017, Edythe was promoted to program coordinator, where she now focuses her energy on assisting staff in providing the best care possible for Sierra Tucson residents, their families, and referring professionals. She oversees the primary therapists and family therapists at Sierra Tucson. Edythe also provides services to individuals who come to Sierra Tucson with concerns regarding sexually compulsive behaviors.
Edythe has worked in the mental and behavioral health field since 2004. Prior to joining Sierra Tucson, she served individuals with severe mental health diagnoses, addiction, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. She has worked in both residential and outpatient settings with adults, families, and adolescents from a wide range of socioeconomic status in her career.
Edythe received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arizona, and a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University. Currently, she is completing her certification in Sex Addiction Therapy (CSAT) from the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals.
