Dianne Keller, MD, has been a member of the Sierra Tucson medical team since 2015. She was born and raised in New York, where she completed her undergraduate studies at Fordham University. She attended medical school at University of Southern California (USC) and spent 10 years at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center, completing medical training internal medicine internship, general psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship. In 1992, she moved to Arizona to practice psychiatry in various settings. Dr. Keller worked in Northern Arizona for 10 years, and then moved to Tucson, AZ in 2001, where she worked in community mental health predominately with the seriously medically ill population. She also practiced at Southern Arizona Mental Health Center (SAMHC), providing child and adult crisis interventions. For three years, Dr. Keller provided services to the people of the Tohono O’odham nation. From 2010 to 2016, she owned a small psychiatric and substance use private practice. She also worked for several years at Pima County Detention Center serving all populations. During her career, she has held positions in direct clinical care and administrative capacities, including medical director.
Dr. Keller is involved in yoga and meditation and has traveled to India and Tibet on spiritual pilgrimages. She is a mother of two young adults and loves to garden, hike, write, and create art.
