David Denny, PsyD, is a recent graduate from Midwestern University’s PsyD program. His interests in psychology are vast, including trauma, co-occurring disorders, equine-assisted psychotherapy, and collaborative care. Dr. Denny has been an outdoor educator as a wilderness-trip leader, ropes course facilitator, and program director. These earlier positions allowed him to witness how individuals and groups interact with the highs and lows that nature delivers. Dr. Denny’s goals are to continue as a psychologist in residential and hospital settings, as well as to pursue administrative roles. He is inspired by the strength and resiliency that play out in individuals who seek out the type of treatment that is offered at Sierra Tucson.
