After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Cincinnati in 1980, Carol MacIsaac obtained a Master of Arts in Counseling from Chapman University in California. Since joining Sierra Tucson in 1991, she has served many roles, including clinical supervisor, children’s program coordinator in the Family Program, and case manager. Today, Carol works as a family therapist, bringing healing and hope to family members and residents.
“The Family Program is reflective of the Sierra Tucson Model® in that it is a systemic approach,” Carol says. “The whole family heals; it’s not just about one person.”
Carol strives to open lines of healthy communication between members of the family. “This is my passion,” she says. “I believe the Family Program is the heart of what we do at Sierra Tucson.”
