Those interested in receiving care at Sierra Tucson can start the admissions process by contacting our admissions department. We have 10 admissions coordinators on hand who are available to answer any questions that you or a loved one may have, review treatment options available, and complete a pre-admission assessment to determine if our services will meet your or your loved one’s needs.
During this assessment, the following information is collected:
- Presenting concerns
- Psychiatric history
- Medical history
- Social history
- Past treatment history
This information is then reviewed by our staff for medical and clinical appropriateness before a programming option is recommended for a prospective resident. Once a prospective resident agrees to admission, the process of beginning services and assisting a resident in acclimating to his or her therapeutic surroundings commences.
